WILT-PRUF® ANTI-TRANSPIRANT
The most serious natural enemy of plant life
is transpiration, or excessive moisture loss which causes severe
wilting. It strikes during periods of drought, transplanting and
plant transportation, when the plant root structure is removed from
its natural environment. WILT-PRUF® is a biodegradeable, organic, film forming chemical especially formulated to protect plants from loss, injury, or shock caused by excessive transpiration or water loss through the plant's leaves, stems and branches. Uses for WILT-PRUF®
- Drought protection.
- Transplant protection.
- Air pollution protection.
- Winter kill protection.
- Protection of Christmas trees, wreaths & greens.
- Indoor plant protection.
- Protection against animal urine.
- Protection during all types of transportation.
- Protecting new landscaping.
- Extension of planting and transplanting season.
- Cold storage (bulbs, corms, tubors and bare rooted stock).
- Animal repellents.
SPRAY-STAY® STICKER EXTENDER
SPRAY-STAY® is not a spreader-sticker which assists wash-off, it is a sticker-extender, which resists wash-off and weathering. This is how
SPRAY-STAY®
works when you add it to your sprays.
Tiny
SPRAY-STAY® droplets form a porous sticky "fabric"
that encapsulates every fungicide and insecticide particle, causing
them to cling to plants 2 to 3 times longer than they could without
SPRAY-STAY®.

Media Moisture Management
Obtaining uniform wetting, rewetting, and proper drainage are very important characteristics of any media. Unfortunately, as growers will confirm, both the bark and peat components of most mixes can be extremely difficult to wet or rewet, especially once they are dry. Further, in most cases, these porous materials don't always hold optimum quantities of water or nutrients.
The growing media in trays or pots, may wet and dry unevenly because the water moves too quickly through them. As the media undergoes several cycles of wetting and drying, the media may shrink away from the sides of the container, allowing water to channel down the edge. This can cause the media to dry out, which leads to inefficient and costly hand watering and possibly crop damage. Non-uniform wetting, rewetting, and poor drainage can also result in the mix at the bottom of the pots remaining saturated. This may inhibit root growth.
Poor wetting and poor drainage can also lead to poor productivity, lack of uniformity in the crop, increased diseases and increased labour and input costs - all which ultimately results in profit loss.
Aquagro 2000 is a media
surfactant specifically designed for use in horticultural growing
media to enhance uniform wetting, rewetting, and drainage of peat -
and bark-based growing mixes. Aquagro 2000 reduces the tensions of water and allows quicker wetting and uniform water distribution. This will help overcome the moisture management.
